The N30S compound was developed from N35S but with lower friction. On a light weight car and a low friction road surface N35S has too higher bite level. Endless then developed N30S which has a slightly lower friction level but good modulation. You can control wheel lock up more easily with this compound.

The initial responding is the same as N35S, this compound is more suited to a light weight car where if you are pressing the brake pedal with high pressure you can avoid wheel lock up problems.
